Dietetics for Distance Education: Finding Books

Too far away to visit Cincinnati State's main campus to pick up books? You still have options!

Call Number Ranges

Generally, books on Dietetics will mostly be found in 613.2 Dietetics, but can be found in any of the following ranges:

• 362.176 Nutritional Services
• 613        Personal Health and Safety
• 613.2     Dietetics
• 615        Pharmacology and therapeutics
• 615.854 Diet Therapy

Library of Congress (Most OhioLINK)
Most academic libraries in OhioLINK use a different classification system called the Library of Congress Classification System that is based on a combination of letters & numbers. Books specifically dealing with Dietetics will usually be found in the R's. Some libraries use the National Library of Medicine Classification System where the books will be in the W's.
