Delivering to Different Academic Libraries

Things to Know: OhioLINK Delivery to a Different Academic Library

  • The item must NOT have an "Available" status from Cincinnati State
  • At least one Library must have the item listed as "Available"
  • You will need to know your 7 digit College ID to process the request.
  • Deliveries take a minimum of 3-5 business days.
  • You will need your Surge card to pick up the item(s) from the library you indicated in your request.
  • Borrowed items may be renewed using your Cincinnati State account (See "Renew Books" tab at left)
  • Items will be picked up AND returned to the same library.

Requesting an Item for Delivery to a Different Academic Library

Step 1: Click the green "Request" button.

Step 2: Select "Cincinnati State" from the list of institutions.

Step 3: Enter your Identification information with your "Pickup Location", then click "Submit".

Enter your name and 7 digit College ID, then change the "Pickup Institution" to the college/university of choice & "Pickup Location" to the campus closest to you. Then, click "Submit".
For this example, the "Pickup Institution" is Miami, and the "Pickup Location" is the Middletown campus.

Step 4: Verify your request was processed.

 

You confirmation page will include which library is delivering the item, as well as what you selected for your pickup location.
